My e-pass was approved after 4 weeks.
So, get your hopes up. :D
When was that? Are you working now?

Or should I ask are you currently working in Singapore or in Makiti in the 'peens where you are posting from. [-X
Around last week. I'm still in Makati as of writing.
Thanks Andyski for very helpful your information. My EP is pending during 4 weeks. Hope it can be approved in the next week.

Hi Andyski,

When did you apply your EP and how many days exactly it took to get approved.

The other thing you guys need to start thinking about is salary pressure. MY neighbour (HP) and I (HP type company) were talking this morning. We are all moving to offering 60% of the pre-oil price crash salaries... so you're 10k a month job may become 6k a month...

Good info? Surely you jest!

You know absolutely nothing more about the status of your application, nor any more information as to whether it will be approved or not.

In order words, everything posted here is useless information... fluff. What difference does it make if someone has been waiting one week, four weeks, 3 days? None... zero... nada... zip... zilch.

Their circumstances have no bearing on yours, nor yours on theirs.

^^^^^^
Your lack of rationality would make you an instant non candidate for any job I might have open.

I mentally wrote him off three weeks ago.

Ur comments are not at all helping this thread....if Applicants who have applied and waiting...can progress this thread would be more helpful...

Neither did yours, going off tangent demanding MOM revise their website and then insinuating Singapore is inefficient ;)

I wonder if those comments of your helped speed up your processing time :D

What's the point, ya muttonhead? Can you not understand that what happens to other people has absolutely no bearing on your own application?

Why don't you ask how many of the applicants have won the Singapore Lottery Toto or 4D pools while waiting for their applications to be processed? It's as relevant as asking the stupid question, "How long have you been waiting?"

I have engineering degree.
The company raised EP application in may, but still it's showing in Pending status.
When I talk to the HR, they said delay is happening for all EP applications due to stringent rules now.
I have heard and even MOM site mentions EP approval usually comes in 7 days.
Can anyone throw some light ?
Appreciate your response.
Hi codejamster,

My EP is also in pending status since 4 weeks. seems like many such cases. My HR said, there is no definite time limit for EP approval, It varies case by case.
But there have been many approvals as well so don't worry too much. Eventually you will also get your EP approved. just need to wait for a while.
lets hope for the best. (ignore all the negative comments.)

You can check out similar posts where many guys have shared their EP application details and status.

hope this helps. Thanks :)

Hope they will manage to filter these two out, otherwise this would simply mean, the rules got loosen. It is long time since we've seen on this board people offered a reasonable salary despite of them lacking some basic common sense.

Hey, x9200, see what our 'total absence of common sense poster' did to you? He done reported you!!

The message contains links to illegal or pirated software.
Of course he reported me 3 times as well.

I think he's just about earned his place that will go down in history. Or should I say he IS history?
