This thread is beginning to look a lot like the Singapore airlines cabin crew thread... have you heard anything?... no, have you?... have you got your medical yet?... Wha lo!... how come I have not got the SMS?... I got letter for the 15th... may I know if you need to take medical... so long to hear, lah.

Yeah, there is 29.5 thousands posts and just under 8 million views in that thread alone and there are around 5 of those monster threads there. Gotta be some kind of record and 95% of them sound just like SE's spiel above.

Tell you what, rsmtconsultant, try listening to your sort of drivel for a decade and then come back and tell me that. Both of us have well over a decade on this forum and I daresay we had seen and heard it all. We are just patiently waiting till you show your hand as well. Then you too, may well be history.

Oh, (putting on different cap) one other thing. As moderators we are still regular members of this board. In fact, we all started as regular members of the board and were later asked to become moderators. But having said that we only moderate with sweeping out the garbage/advertisers/soliciting, foul language and when things get too personal, and troll elimination duties. We all have our way of showing when we have our moderator caps on. The rest of the time we are regulars. Capisce? - moderator

And for the record, any more crap like your last statement will see you gone in a flash. While I don't read that crap my Indian wife does. If you edit it you will be okay. If I edit it, you are history.

I am pretty sure you are the only person who has the same case as yourself.

Yes, absolutely normal.

You'll only be granted your pass when the background check/vetting is done.

No thanks to this:

Hi guys,

Thank you so much for your discussion. I found a lot of useful information here! I'm now going on the process for EP as well and it would be great if I could have some of your idea about my case.

I'm now 25. I started working with EP in Singapore with a specialist role since Sep 2015 and left my job in Mar 2016 as I was laid off. I then came back to my country and found a project based job while looking for new opportunities in Singapore. Fortunately, I just received another offer in Singapore few days ago with manager role and the company has applied for my new EP. So, this is my 2nd application for EP in Singapore.

In my situation, how do you think about the process? Will I be going under the vetting process like other cases? I'm a bit worried now as I really want to come back to work in Singapore.

Will look forward for your opinion. I really appreciate that :)

My case is, both first application and renewals go through vetting.
Same company, same everything.
