EP Processing Time

Hi All,

My employer has applied EP on June 6th 2016 and still status is showing as pending. I am from india and worked for 4 companies in india. Any idea when i can expect the application to get approved. Its already 3 months.

You should have the application result in 1-2 weeks from now, as we have heard of EP results for some of them known around 3 months time from the date of application.

My employer today communicated to me that all the ep pass from branded MNC's are ON-HOLD. So he asked me to join some other company in india and resign once the visa got approved. I am not sure what to do now.

Some one please provide me some suggestions on this.

Not branded MNCs. More like "well known Indian body shopping companies".

My friend was head hunted from India just last month for Visa( the credit card company), which is a branded MNC. He had no issues with EP.

Sounds like your in a bit of a pickle. I work for a big, branded MNC and can confirm we've happily been receiving EP approvals during this time period

We do fill out a lot of paperwork to show no eligible PR/SC was available for the job though.
