Hi, would need advise from someone here...

I'm currently an EP holder from Company A, planning to move to another company (let's say Company B). While I'm still holding Company A EP, would it be possible that Company B apply for my new EP?

Reason being, I have 2 month notice period for resignation but planning to submit it AFTER my Company B EP got approved (if above scenario is possible) to avoid any risk & have job security, e.g in case Company B EP got delayed for too long / worst case rejected...

Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

After a lot of struggle, my agency had to drop my offer since EP was pending for 70+days. I applied for the same job, via another agency and EP approved in 3 working days!! Viola..

Anyone who are awaiting EP for longer than than 30 days+ i advice to rethink waiting period and move on with other possible options.

Good luck :)

Congrats. The reapplication option may not work for all. Since, they have waited for a long time, one option would be to wait patiently and get the result.

Yes, reapplication is not a guaranteed one! i was saying my experience. My event just confirmed that certain companies are definitely under government's watchlist and may not be good to wait out if you cant afford jobless period for long time.

All the best for people who are waiting! And thanks to everyone in the forum and replies which made me rethink and work accordingly :) :) :)

Yes.
But at the time Company B apply new EP, i'm still employed under Company A... Will there be any issue?

No.

But .... if company A has their HR on the ball, they will find out about your new application.

And smaller company's HR are on the ball more than bigger ones.

It looks like MOM is closely monitoring some companies. They have a list of some employers and pending their EPs ever since.
