The 3 star chef is shutting it down (not selling). This has been our no 1 choice for excellent French Cuisine for a few years. It's on Serangoon Road. Go and experience before it's too late.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.

It would seem so...
http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/sin ... 34874.html
This was before the days of hipster cafes and alfresco dining. Today, faced with high rental costs and a labour crunch in the F&B industry, the game has changed since Mr Le Henaff first started.
“In France, 15 years they say, ‘Oh the guy has just opened the restaurant’. Here they say, ‘Woah he’s still around?” Mr Le Henaff said, referring to the transient nature of restaurants in Singapore.

Staffing cost increases I can believe, but haven't rental rates come down at least over the past couple years?

Not yet in commercial spaces... plus idiot Landlords here like to wipe out successful tenants.

From what the paper (linked by SE) says, looks like the current business is not profitable enough (too much competition) and he is going to move to the high end.

I'll be interested to hear what tenant (if any) replaces TFS. If somebody could report back in a few months (let's say), that'd be an interesting report.

Is it the same chef who now runs the TFS in Changi Village? anyone tried that, when it was still open for eating in?
Somehow I've never eaten in the Changi Village one, even though I go that area quite frequently for lunch or dinner during weekends.

I’m not sure if its run by the same guy, but I was there once and the food was pretty good. If Changi is within reach for you, give it a go once they reopen for dine-in. Takeaway really compromises the quality.
