My Experience

Hi,

Over the 4 weeks I've been here I found an Indian guy in Lucky Plaza who consistently gave the best rates for exchanging Australian dollars. He was in the basement, in about the centre of the building. Just ask around the numerous money changes there about the best rate.

It may not be entirely suitable for you - ie distance and other currencies but it's been my experience so far.

Cheers, Sydney

The best would be the one I goes to every month at the 695 North Bridge Rd.Tel 6292 3155 beside a restaurant/opposite Sultan mosque.I went to many $ changers and finally found 1 that is honest.I'd advise you to call 1st coz sometimes they go for prayer.

Word of advice.Do not go to the moneychanger(dunno what's the name)but it's nxt to Centrepoint beside a shop selling pork jerkies. They'll cheat you.
