Advice needed for Citizenship application

Post by KLJ » Sun, 29 May 2016 1:36 pm

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are looking at applying for Singapore citizenship as a family together with my 2 year old son. We are Malaysian Chinese and have been PR for more than 2 years, but my son has only been a PR for 1 year (he was born in Singapore). Therefore if we apply now, i'm not sure if my son will be qualified to apply together as well?

On another note, looks like from 1st June onwards, all applications have to go through eSC?

Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

KLJ,

i dont think ICA expects, at least at the time of application, toddlers and children to have been a PR for more than x years. I was allowed to submit my application 2 years back with Husband PR + wife PR + child on LTVP. they had no questions.
this means they "accept" applications, not sure about the outcome... mine is still "processing"

cheers
