Help ! Applying for Singapore Citizenship

Post by winniepooh » Fri, 20 May 2016 12:00 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am intending to apply for singapore citizenship but am wondering if i can include my husband and 2 sons application together as they have just got their in approval PR recently.

Am intending to apply for citizenship once i have done with the PR formalities if they are allowed to tag into my application.

Or do they have to wait for 2 years or something before they are able to apply ? As i know it will be better to apply as a family.

Hope to have feedback from you guys soon ! :)

Thank you !!

From the ICA website.

•A person who is at least 21 years of age and has been a Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) for at least 2 years prior to the date of application.

So no, you should either apply on your own (probably not advisable as, understandably, they prefer family groups) or wait 2 years until your family becomes eligible and apply as a family group.
