Please advise on my PR chance

Post by Balloony » Mon, 09 May 2016 5:32 pm

Really appreciate all your frank opinions and advices :)

My humble profile:
- Vietnamese (ikr, least favourable race in Singapore due to lots of black sheeps.. But i cannot do anything about it ](*,) )
- 21 years old female
- occupation: Staff nurse in private hospital (i have been here since 2012, Graduate from Singapore nursing school in 2015)
- salary: 2500/month (as low as possible but what to do :) nursing is never about earning money..)
-married for 2 years
- My hubby has been SPR for 8 years out of his 10 years in Singapore. NTU graduate. Salary 5k+/month

I know that my profile has nothing outstanding compared to others who have stayed here for long and earn a lot more but wholeheartedly i love to contribute as a healthcare provider for our aging society. Im definitely gonna stay here and settle down for the rest of my life. Given my humble profile, is there any slim chance for me?
Thanks people again for your opinions :)

You are contributing, potentially breeding and probably not leaving (i.e. stable)... good chance if the gahmen has any sense.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Aside from the fact that VN women have a rough time of it in general here, I'd think you would have a good chance, but as I said, it does seem the gahment has a thing against VN women. My Accountant, also VN is married to another VN/SPR lecturer in one of the universities here. Rejected for PR. No valid reason that we can deduce. Good Luck.
