Thanks for the advice about the kickback deal but frankly, both the company and I are way above this I believe. They are a reputable MNC employing thousands worldwide and I`m an EU citizen with considerable experience, currently earning the equivalent of 70k+ SGD. It might not be that much but enough for me not to get involved in such dodgy affairs.

They would need to be idiots to play any dirty tricks after the thing got escalated. Keep your fingers crossed Dinho, I hope you will get it, but if anything suspicious happens after you get approved and started to be paid, keep the words of SMS in mind.
