If the first company did not tick to also apply for S pass if ineligible for the EP, they couldn't apply for the S pass later. So, if they only applied for the EP. Then you still have a chance with the current potential employer. But you still have the hurdle of trying to convince the MOM that they need to hire a no-experience foreign graduate instead of a no-experience local graduate. I think you are going to need a healthy dose of luck, truth be known.sunflower.8 wrote:Ohh the company did not tick to submit for both EP and S-pass, I never got rejected for S-Pass because this is the first time a company is applying S-pass for me.
The company did not post in job bank, but posted only at STJOBS.SG for few months already. Will this be a problem if the company did not post in job bank?
Thank you for replying me andri.tjiu!

Re: S-pass application: no record found
I understand what you are saying there sundaymorningstaple.
I just checked online today and I still couldn't find my S-pass application status.
Thus, I called the employer HR and the HR told me that I am unable to check on my status because the HR applied through the employers website and the status is still PENDING.
The HR told me to just wait and they will inform me.
May I just know if there are any cases where the applicants are unable to check the status because the employer applied through the employer's website?
Thank you so much!

Something puzzles me with your statement above.sunflower.8 wrote: My previous employer applied E-pass for me and it was rejected because I am a fresh graduate. Few days ago my current employer found out a problem that my previous employer had input the name of my university's name wrongly in the MOM system.
Your previous employer? How were you working if your EP was rejected? Or did you mean your previous potential employer? Also, are you currently work here? ("Few days ago my current employer...") Again, are you meaning your potential employer. I'm assuming you are just mixing up tenses, but I have to be sure.
No, I don't work for the MOM. But I am an HR Manager for a local 150 man SME and have over 20 years total HR experience.

Re: S-pass application: no record found
Hi sundaymorningstaple,
Firstly, I want to thank you for being so patient with me.
Yes I think I have bad tenses now. Haha.
No I never work in Singapore before because my passes have never been approved before.
I went to the website to try to check on my current S-pass status, but still no record show.
My employer told me I won't be able to check online because she applied from the employer's website and it is still 'pending'. I am so confuse by this situation. Is it possible not to be able to check on my S-pass status?
Thank you for always guiding me.

Hi sunflower.8,sunflower.8 wrote:Hi everyone, just wanna share some happy news that my S-pass is finally approved after waiting for 1 month
May I know whether you got to see the status in "EP Online"? Did the company really apply through some kind of their own website? Thanks!

There is none other than the EPOL
Re: S-pass application: no record found
Thank you ecureilx. Yes, thought the same. But came across another HR telling the same story that they have applied via kind of their website and status is pending there. But "No record found" in EPOL. Was wondering as I saw the same by sunflower.8. Are they lying?sunflower.8 wrote:I understand what you are saying there sundaymorningstaple.

Re: S-pass application: no record found
When did they apply?.If the application was applied online, it takes 2-3 days for the record to be visible in the Employment Pass Status link (without login). If it was submitted using the manual mode of paper submission it may take upto 3-4 weeks for the record to appear online.samgeh123 wrote:Thank you ecureilx. Yes, thought the same. What the employer may be referring to is the status of the application when they check using the SINGPASS controlled EPOL website.
Re: S-pass application: no record found
Thank you so much singaporeflyer. Applied 2 days ago. May be that's the reason. Thanks again.

Re: S-pass application: no record found
Hi guys,
Just wanna clear up another thing. Is there any special/ emergency counter open at MOM at Sundays and public holidays for a period of time? (That people can walk in-with queue number)
Thanks!

Re: RE: Re: S-pass application: no record found
Really not an emergency. Is there any counters or anyone can physically meet up mom personal to discuss pass matters on Sundays or public holidays? Is there's such service offered? As per website there's no indication but some HR told that kind of story. Wanted to clarify that. Thanks!ecureilx wrote:What emergency is that?samgeh123 wrote:Hi guys,
