Is there any romantic nice restaurant?

Post by absolute » Sun, 30 Jan 2005 12:15 am

Hi! I am wondering where I should go for my birthday dinner. I would like to go to a cozy and lovely restaurant. If you know any, give me a tip.
Thanks.

The Zoo

But seriously. Vaniila Pod is a cosy and quiet little Italian restaurant on the approach road to the Zoo off Mandai Road. Lovely and for now at least relatively undiscovered. Doubtless in 2 weeks it will be teeming with Singaporeans with prams, maids, babies, pets, no, no pets, and all and sundry.

Karma Sutra yur Romance dude!!

Dunno about you.. but i'm Gonna bring my darling for some Karma Sutra Dinner this Vday! haha... Its at Devi Fusion, Millenia Walk (just next to Paulner Brauhms) ... Food there was beautifully presented, healthy, & Finger licking good !! Woo!!

It's really good Indian Fusion Crusine.. my personal favourite is the Chilman Biryani & Devi Special Dal..

There's one Devi Malai Broccoli dish they'd like to highlight.. but if you're not a broccoli person, you may wanna give it a miss..

If you wanna use your fingers for food, order the Naan (indian assortment of bread) instead.. order either Devi Special Dal or curry (u can ask for non spicy) to go along with the bread.. imagine dipping the bread into delicious sauce and feeding it to your partner... now that's some finger licking romance for you !!

One word: Halia. In the Botanical Gardens. Excellent food, excellent settings, and half the price of Au Jardin Les Amis next door...

I know a kool coffee place MONDO-CAFE at 17 Bali Lane, cushy seats, serves the world's best coffee.

A gf of mine who is a coffee hater had this to say:

"Must try before you die!"

and now wants me to bring her there everytime we go for drinks.

Dunno if it's Viagra in d coffee, the ambience or something in the seats, sure made her HOT!
