My family's planning to apply for PR at the end of this year. So far the ones applying are me (18 M), my sister (16) and my mother (43).

We've lived in the U.A.E, Dubai for a period of 9 years then came to Singapore under my mum who was offered a higher position in a German MCN in July of 2013. We chose to pursue our studies through the local education route and are here ever since graduating from secondary school.

From what I've read in this sub forum it's rare to find someone as young as me to inquire about my chances of permanent residency. After all, I've decided that I would like to settle down in Singapore and make it my home.

Here are my mum's credentials, please do advice on what will stand out to make a successful application.

Nationality: Filipino
Race: Filipino
Age:43
Industry: Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Annual Salary: So far from what I know my mum makes over 120k but less than 160k
Education: Bachelors Degree in the top Universities of the Philippines in Chemical Engineering, plus a few professional qualifications in logistics management here in Singapore and Dubai.
Pass: Either a P1 or P2 EP
Community Involvement: I've recently started this year doing blood donation and doing voluntary work with my CC. I wasn't able to do this last year since I was busy with my O levels and neither my mother since her job eats most of her free time. My sister is too heavily involved and committed in her secondary school.
Number of Applicants: 3
Length of stay in Singapore: Nearing 3 years

From the aforementioned information, what are my family's chances based on your evaluation?

I think you will have to do National Service, if so there might be quite a good chance :D

Well of course I will have to do and I'm willing to serve. I'm currently enrolled in a local polytechnic and I'll be about 20 when I enlist? However the next ICA appointment date is 2017 January and I'll be 19 when they have a look at our application. Does being above the age for NS mitigate our chances of approval?
