My This! was actually not directed to your comment but on this comment:
PR hopefuls fret not! As long as ICA doesn't administer compulsory tests to assess applicant's basic command of English, y'all on equal ground!

Certainly there are other parameters at play to gauge one's suitability in integrating to the society. =D>
Probably the Chang in his name helped him, more than anything else. So yeah, fret not.

Hi for EP152 form certification from employer, there's a note state that the certification from employer should not be issued more than 2 weeks prior to the application completing the permanent resident formalities . Does it mean that of my pr formalities on 12 August 2016, the letter should dated on 29 July or before ?

Hope to clarify thanks

Just to update, I got my application finally approved today from ienquiry after 10 months. I got a request to submit CV details of my parents and siblings last month through post and got the approval a month after. Thanks guys for the info here. Some things that could have helped me in the application, apart from my race I guess :). I submitted a certificate of appreciation from continuous volunteering that I received back in 2013, also awards given by my company to me.

Dependent applicants: HUSBAND, EP, monthly income $5,000, Degree Australia.
Daughter 6yr old DP, Son 3yr old DP
2. All Malaysian Chinese

What do you think of my chance? Quite nervous now as I hope it don't take a long time to reject. It will be very disappointing. Thanks!

You may not have been here long enough as residents, but as you are almost guaranteed to get PR in the long run I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Should they reject you , they will give you some advice on when to apply in the future.

As my daughter needs to enroll to P1 this year for next year intake, chances to get into local school is very low if we don't get our PR. Of cos my living cost will also reduce with a PR status too. :) fingers crossed for my approval.

Hi,

New here and found similar profile. Would like to share my application here.

25y/o, female Malaysian Chinese.
EP holders, salary:3.4k/months
Local poly and uni graduate. 7 years here.
Just started working like 7 months ago and have no tax payment record.

Worry that the employment record and tax may hinder the chance of the application.

Thanks.
