Today i checked I-Enquiry and my PR application is "Approved".
Applied end of Dec15>>Approved Jul16(1st week of Jul)>> take 6 month..

I'm waiting ICA's approval letter to book an appointment to complete PR formalities.

Kchang did you meant June16? Because you said you waited for 6mos.. cuz today is only 11th July.. 16July will be this cuming saturday..

On the other hand if you meant you got approved on July16, then maybe its July 6 isnt?(because you said 1st week of July) then it should be *7months of waiting".. Sorry i didnt mean to be rude im just confused with the date you mentioned..

Congrats on your PR approval Kchang! If anyone has any doubts that it's increasingly harder to obtain PR nowadays, one just needs to direct them to Kchang's case

PR hopefuls fret not! As long as ICA doesn't administer compulsory tests to assess applicant's basic command of English, y'all on equal ground!

Certainly there are other parameters at play to gauge one's suitability in integrating to the society.
