Unpaid Debts due to MOM for Fines and FWL
Hey if you massive liabilities due to MOM for fines and FWL, and you are unable to pay on time, what is the possible consequences?
Also because you are unable to pay off on time, can you discuss on realistic repayment plans for these liabilities with MOM?

Act fast.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I'm not sure we are receiving the correct data. OP, how many months FWL has not been paid?
Is the company still operational?
Do you still have any foreign employees?
Are your FWs here legally?
Have you been banned from hiring or keeping your FWs?

The business has since been closed. The rest of the info I need to find out. First time I am dealing with a case like this - I think its best he would need to visit CCS soon or inquire to MOM directly.

Re: Unpaid Debts due to MOM for Fines and FWL
If he hasn't payed the last months FWL, the odd are only penalties and interest. They would have canceled his workers permits in the 2nd month if still in arrears and he would have probably been banned for hiring any new FWs. There isn't any jail term as far as I know thus far. However, if he had illegal foreign workers and no FWL was paid and he was found out, he's gonna go to jail for a while for hiring illegal workers plus the penalties, interest and levy that should have been paid on those workers. It sounds like he closed up shop and didn't pay the final levy but that remains to be confirmed.

He said already settled his fines, and levy payable in monthly instalments. Anyways he aint forthcoming about his situation, so referred him to CCS.
