Hello,
I applied for my Singapore PR based on being a spouse of a Singaporean last year and I'd thought I would share this situation with you guys and also keep you updated on the outcome, hopefully it will help with your own application!
We registered our marriage on 30 Jan 2015 and I submitted my application on 25th Aug 2015. It is currently still pending (it has been 7 months now). I had to wait 6 months for my online booked appointment at the ICA. However, I noticed afterwards that the online appointment booking usually has a lot of free slots if you check early in the morning, not sure whether its because they add new slots in the morning or whether its because of cancellations.
Me: 25 years old, female, Dutch nationality, Chinese etnicity, Masters Degree from a UK university, and I have been working in SG since Feb 2015 with a base of $45k per annum.
Spouse: 30 years old, male, Singaporean, Chinese etnicity, double BA degree from SMU, and working in banking with a base of $220k per annum.
Any questions, comments, advice, info on similar situations are welcome! I will notify once there is an update on my status.

PR Application with Singaporean spouse
Re: PR Application with Singaporean spouse
Just a quick update.
I called in last week to check on the status of my application and also to check whether they needed more documents from me. I was informed that my application is at the final stages already and that I should receive an outcome within 2-3 weeks.
I check again today and it was APPROVED! I'm so happy.

Congrats. You are one of those who, after the call, got an approved state. Of course, you tick the right boxes a lot.qol wrote:Just a quick update.

I know a few who called, being impatient, and within 2 weeks or so the rejection letters appeared. Of course, it's sheer coincidence

No, it's just the way it goes. The majority do not get to pass go, do not get to collect $200. (Monopoly players will understand).
