I don't think there are a "top 5" so much as a range of options that may or may not fit your requirements. I would have a think about where you're working, where you're living, which curriculum you want your children in should you stay in Singapore for the long term, and then pick a school.
One thing here...beware of buzzwords such as Montessori, IB etc. do not necessarily mean a lot. Always ask hard questions of the schools.

Thank you for your reply. I understand what you say regarding Montessori as a buzzword - we have visited Singapore in the (rather distant) past and visited several locations, we liked the "vibe" and the outdoorsy approach.
it is important to us our son will spend as much time as possible outdoors, so that will be of course an important criteria.
children-teacher ratio is of course critical, same as the overall size of the group.
are there any "singapore specific" criteria we should specifically look at ?

Not worth really, look around there are cheaper options. This is a good place to start. Call and compare curriculum and rates.

Okay. I think that's fine. A thousand dollars is moderate.
Thank you!
That's the minimum. There are many in the 1000 to 1500 range.
