He looks like the character Muttley from the cartoon 'Dastardly and Muttley and their Flying Machines'.

Is that the 2017 model?.... it's very modern for India. Perhaps it's playing on the retro look, or...
[I'm thinking of the default estate car back in the 80s, that was as near as matters a copy of the by then ancient looking 1950s Morris Oxford].

It's the same with the Indian Royal Enfield. They bought the dies, molds and name from the British Manufacturer and continued to make the 60's model of Royal Enfield down to the last nut and bolt. The export them as well. You can buy them brand new here in Singapore. Here's 2012 model for sale...

I recall seeing 'Ruby Queen' cigarettes in Vietnam back in the 80s. They were originally Wills, later bought out by Ardath. It was odd seeing street vendors in Saigon selling a London brand that I'd never heard of before...
I think another Wills brand that morphed eastwards in a similar fashion was the brand 'State Express - 555'.

I am reading now this story:
The Mastermind and I ended up doing it because the guy pictured in is actually a (co)creator of the well known Truecrypt software.
Besides an interesting story, it is also located for a large part in SEA, and its pretty fresh, but this is a sort of digression. I've just read this:
Hey Bro we are going to need some OP funds ($3000.00)
coming from one American to another American, the first of them staying for a few weeks in the Philippines. So is it a Pinoy thing or Am. small-town thing?

Seriously, bro.
Also, a comic book with Russian thugs saying bro all the time:

Peace out, bro.
