Ricedoll, anybody can come up with a tax proposal. It doesn't mean it'll be law, although it's quite a bit easier in Singapore's system of government to enact new tax provisions. MediShield Life, for example.
My neighbor proposes raising Singapore's income tax rate on real estate gains from 0% to 68%, above stamp duties. Are you concerned?
