I notice that 6/23 beers are British for sure, Thornbridge brewery, haven't ID'd the rest. I used to buy some of their beers at the beer shop @ The Grandstand. Nice but $.
Interesting to see there is enough demand to be bringing in fresh kegs of ale. Maybe a sign that beer-drinkers tastes are moving beyond the historic bottled/canned mainstays. Now if only the tax on beer would come down...

I reckon they'd let me in the place for a little while I guess.
SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers
Came to me senses that a pint or 2 might be better than dessert so i popped into the bar after dinner. My preference for beer this days lean towards the crisp and bitter there are quite a few IPA styled beers, do watch the alc/v a few of the brews are reaching percentages near the 9s. They also do have a quite a few dark roast beers, stout, chocolate etc, not really my thing, for some reason most dark roast ends up tasting coffeeish to me.
Pricewise its about $16-19 a pint, my dessert of 6 pints cost me about $100. Oh they have some bar food, but i suspect the kopitiam right opposite serves much better food. Ambience-wise it's not a frat-party atmosphere, soft music mainly Eric Clapton and upon questioning found out that the waitresses do NOT know who Eric Clapton is. It's basically a sit down and drink fancy beer in wine glass while having a chat kind of place, staring into your partner's eyes is purely optional.
Neat find. Must try this. Though a youngish girl serving it isn't that hip. Would be cooler to have old Chinese men with long white beards sliding jars with pharma labels snappily.
The taps look too close to all have different barrels right behind them (you could pipe them out from farther, of course) but in all likelihood, just a few beers served under 20 names. Heh.

Been there twice. Had their Rhubarbella and Armadillo. Very tasty and delightfully-bodied for pale ales. Haven't tried the lagers in their menu but friends love them - that would be my aim in my next visit. But then again my appreciation towards beer is pretty novice.
In case you're curious about food, it is worth to try. If you are a fan of Slake (at Swan Lake) for their fusion bar food, this one comes close to its level. I recommend it. You may not like the price tag for the portion they are serving though.
Of course Lynx has been there. I was dragged there by our companies resident hipster who read about it in Singapore Hipster Weekly (a copublication of the Singapore Expat Forum). The food was fabulous - recommened the basil flavoured ice cream.
