Christian expat looking for good friends

Post by nsmx » Thu, 25 Feb 2016 11:24 am

Hi, I'm 34/F looking for Christian friends to hangout with on weekends.
Would also like to be a part of a bible study group with fellow young adult professionals.
Hope to hear from you guys! :)

Xx,
N

I've found it hard to find non-denominational churches.
Start your own study group maybe?
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Hi there. Am also new and church hopping. Last went to the Presbyterian church in Prince Street. I like it but there's not much young people. But it makes for a very calming English village-like atmosphere though! Plan to go there this week at the 11 AM if you'd like to come and check it out. I do like the sermons and as mentioned, the atmosphere quite fits my style for the moment.
Thinking of going to the Holland Village one in two weeks time as I won't be here next week.

You might want to try St George in the Minden area opposite Botanical Gardens.

Oh my, there's an absolutely AWESOME CHURCH running every Sunday at 11:30am either at (a) The Star, 1 Vista Exchange Green, Singapore 138617 or (b) Marina Bay Sands, Sands Expo And Convention Centre. Please check it out, the ushers are around. tell them you're visiting for the first time and they'll direct you with a smile.

Pastors much have mortgage payments due on their palatial digs at Sentosa that the congregation pays for, thinking their money is going to doG.

Mortgage? I doubt it. It should be outright purchase.

And a lot of money went into the 1 billion $ 'mixed use' property- The Star Vista. Owned by the same church -NCC.

And they still have spare cash to have another satellite service at the Sands, while .. other smaller churches have to share their service space.
