Your nationality will play a big part there. We don't know what it is so it's hard to say. If you are Indian as your name suggests (or from the subcontinent surrounds) yes, I believe you will need a visa in advance.
Squirrel or WD40 will be better to answer this one.

You need a visa in advance, if you are going to visit Singapore. Apply through any travel agency, as I am very sure the Singapore mission in Dubai doesn't accept direct applications, and direct everybody to ICA Web Online.
Details at ICA Online -
https://save.ica.gov.sg/save-public/
If you are traveling via SQ, and stopping over, then SQ will handle the transit visa.

it all depends on what passport you hold, you could be nitesh Mishra with a UK passport and you won't need a visa.
you could be a nitesh mishra from India and you'll need one.
you could be a Nitesh Mishra from India and a diplomat and you won't need one.
you could be a Nitesh Mishra with a kenyan passport and you'll need a visa
It all depends on what Nitesh Mishra really is.
To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

Thanks for the clarification
NiteshMishra from India residing in UAE.
As an Indian Passport Holder, you need to apply for a visa in advance, to visit Singapore.

As mentioned you are a Indian residing in UAE, then it is necessary to apply for a visa to travel to Singapore, you can apply online or visit any travel agent or agency, my aunt had been to Singapore when she was in Dubai as they had planned a trip a month before as her hubby works in Dubai, so for her visa she had contacted some local agent, I’ll check out with her and update you.
