Pr application for spouse and son
Pr application for spouse and son
Hi , my situation is that my spouse pr is rejected and appeal outcome was also not favorable
I later delivered a baby boy and have put his application for pr with in
The first 42'days categories .. Awaiting outcome
I am planning to re appeal for my spouse based on my sons pr outcome .. What are the chances of a successful appeal considering we have made our son a pr here and I am in midst of buying a property here
Pls advice

I believe buying property has no bearing on the outcome of a PR application.zinc32 wrote:We are in early 30s, race indian

Did you study here to get PR?
Maybe having son helps , who knows , Indians appear to not be the flavour of the month at the minute however if you dont apply you will never know.
Whats the worst that can happen , they will reject and you carry on as is.
Just hope they give your son the relevant pass so he can stay in Singapore.

Re: Pr application for spouse and son
Buying a property will only indicate them our long term intentions to stay in sg ... Unlike some pr s who obtain the status and leave without making their kids pr ... Unfortunately on account of such people the rest have to suffer ..
Thanks for your comments hope my son atleast get the pr and basis that we can then appeal for my husband
I moved here long back in 2008 and hence it was much easier then to obtain pr
Life will move as even in worst case but if my family is not given a status here it might be a indication for us to either wait longer or look out

From what I know, a property will not influence "their" decision ... its not like you can't sell your property for life time.zinc32 wrote:Buying a property will only indicate them our long term intentions to stay in sg ...
If property was a major influence a lot of low wage salary earners won't get PR.
Just saying ....
Re: Pr application for spouse and son
True agree it's not the only deciding factor but nonetheless one of the factors which is positive in the application

No, it's not positive at all. Too many of your countrymen have come before you, bought property and said it's because we want to settle down here, but as soon as the MOP as been reached, they resold the properties and scurried off the another country to get PR there and buy with the profits gleaned from the ruse pulled here. To ICA, you just look like another one.
