Employment Pass | Status | Pending inputs from vetting agencies.

Hi everyone, I'm a post-graduate student from NUS having 3 years service obligation, My HR has applied for the E-pass on 4th March and the status is still pending(3rd week). I'm really worried as she is experiencing this issue for the first time. Usually it takes 4 days for her to get approved. Is it because of the company(outsourcing to clients) has more number of E-pass request(She has applied for 3 of my other friends on the same day) or MOM considers our application as special case and doing background verification. What are all the other available status, Is there any chance for my epass to get rejected.

If you took some time, did some research in this forum, you would have known this: for the past 2 years or so, ever since MOM found a lot of fake and manufactured credentials and certificates, applicants are being put through vetting. If not now, during the next renewal, they are going to vet the credentials and certificates and all.

It's nothing to do with the employer - it's all about where you come from, sad to say.

finally got my EP approval one month ago. It took about 3 weeks plus from date of application.

My Employer has submitted application for Employment Pass.

and the status reflects:

" Pending inputs from vetting agencies, Expected outcome is 2 months from the Date of Application "

how much time does it take? or does it really take 2 months?

two weeks up to 12 weeks normally. There isn't really an average. May take longer depending upon where you are from or where your degree/diploma are from.

NO ONE can tell you when or if you will get approved. We know nothing of you. We don't know what kind of uni you attended or whether it is dodgy or good. We don't know if you hop from job to job. We don't know your work history. We don't know if you have violated Singapore labor laws in the past. WE KNOW NOTHING OF YOU! How should we know when or if you are going to get approved?

By the same company? Sure. If you want to wait another 7 or 12 weeks. Knock yourself out. In fact, please do so, you will probably be rejected in three days for screwing around. They have enough on their plates with getting a smatarse.
