Ensure you have a hotel reservation, enough money, and a return ticket dated 30 days away.

Unfortunately Singapore, as I said, doesn't give the benefit of doubt for Asian Lovers, unless they are married.

So you still may get a 7 day visa, or 30 day visa.

So take your chance. That's all I can say.... others may have better suggestions.

PS, I hope your boyfriend is a PR at the minimum, to be able to help, if the officers start questioning you with suspicion.

If you get denied entry up on landing, being unmarried, it will be tough arguing you case.

Planning for 2week or not, just hope you don't get 7 days upon landing.

Hope fair weather's in your favor.

what happened was my spass application took a long time and my stvp expired on the 18th..i went to mom and ica offices twice and they said spass holders who were cancelled can not apply for extension so no choice had to exit. when i exited i asked the officer if i need to wait at jb for my ipa or i can come back the following day..she said no need i can come back the following day and wait for ipa in sg..i was so relieved..next day i came back they wont allow me in i was sent to the office and denied entry they were asking for the ipa and even if i said it is already being processed just waiting for approval they still didnt hear me out i asked even for just 2weeks? "NO" they said..i can come back in only if i have return ticket i said why should buy i have a pending application? alright the officer said then wait in jb lah!!! with a very loud voice like im some sort of criminal..they gave me a letter denying entry to sg and was even escorted to the busses going back to jb like id run away or something very humiliating coz people were staring at me..in the first place i wouldnt even come back to sg the following day if i wasnt told otherwise or else id just wait for my ipa...well eventually it was approved yesterday morning and i presented it to immigrations even so i was still questioned like i was faking it..all is well now..id just treat this a learning experience...

Firstly, which country passport do you hold ?

Correct, no extension allowed now, under the pretext of pending application. Lot of people used to claim they have applications pending, and used it as reason to extend.

Not so, ICA won't look up MOM pending applications, unless they are approved (I think .. )

processing - is NOT approved - so, they are right. I can submit an application and say it is pending- they are not required to let you in on the basis of a 'pending' application.

You should have done some search and expected this kind of response. You did something, not intentionally, but a lot of girls do it on a daily basis.

Again, an ICA officer doesn't work for MOM. His saying 'should be ok' is not God's word.

And as I said, dozens of girls try the same trick everyday .. though you are innocent.

And one more thing, approval of a pass is NOT equal to issuance. Approval letters can be revoked for various reasons, including medical. So until you have got your pass, your entry is at the discretion of the Immigration officer.

BTW, not to offend you, if you felt humiliated by ICA, why did you come back again ? :-k :-k

PS, try to break up your response into paragraphs. It will be easier for anybody replying.

Ok, did you read my reply ? An officer saying "SHOULD BE OK" is not YES, CONFIRMED, OK.

After all, as I said, a pending pass is not the same as approved pass, and even an approved pass is not the same as pass issued to candidate.

Unless you are looking for some sympathy, I don't know what else I could tell you.

Which country passport do you hold ? are you a male or female ?
