Is this salary enough to relocate to Singapore?

Hello

I would appreicate your helping to provide me some your view regarding cost of living in Singapore today base on the salary offer i received.

currently i'm living in Japan with my wife, also my kid just borned (just 1 month). i were requested to re-located to Singapore on June.

The salary offer is about 11000 SGD per month (before tax)+13th mth pay, in addtion, company will provide around 1500 SGD per month on housing support (limited period).

Is this offer enough for my family to live in Singapore with a mid-level of life? what is the current cost of living in Singapore for my family situation? currently we are in Japan with similar salary (a little bit higher than this), and we are satisfy with the life we have.

You should be okay. You will be a little short on your housing allowance but 2.5K/mo will be enough unless you want a downtown condo with all the bells & whistles. As you child is still an infant you wont have any schooling costs for a couple of years (expensive to say the least).
