Unless you have a gaming license, it's against the law here. That's why you don't have any takers. You must be a newbie here in Singers. OH, they do raid and fine and jail and cane. They keep a close watch on illegal gambling as they aren't getting their fair share if you don't have a gaming license. A couple of years ago, the biggie was home based Texas Hold'em till a few got raided.

It is legal as long as it is not done in public and the place is not used for like regular gambling (a gambling den).

And as long as money doesn't change hands. The problem with the definition of 'gambling den' is it's vague enough to hamper even hardcore mahjong players. If one is soliciting for players who are strangers on an open forum, it could be construed as advertising, and if it happens on any regular basis it could be construed as a gambling den (the condo's were normal units during the days).

The police line so far has been that it's cool unless the game is hosted for the purpose of making money. Non-raked games should be safe.
