K1 or k2

Post by Maha2201 » Tue, 29 Dec 2015 11:30 pm

Hi
We recently moved to sg. My daughter is jan 2011 born. I joined her @ bethesda kindergarten pasir ris. She is good at maths, reading & writing. So i have two questions here:
Q1. Can by anychance she can join k2 or p1 instead of k1. (As she is missing the next leveljus by 2 weeks).
Q2. How good or effective are the kindergarten coaching and teaching.

The reason i am worried so much is because she use to attend full day school(Reception) in her previous country(UK) and also i dont want a waste a academic year. Please guide me.

Admission to P1 is normally based on year of birth . For your daughter, she will be eligible to apply at local schools for P1 in 2018. So counting backwards, she can go to K1 in 2016 and K2 in 2017.

If you feel your daughter is advanced for her age, try the link below if this will help.
