Thanks. Actually I was under the impression that they view it as "OK this guy is going to consume less national resources"... After all hdb is government subsidized. But who knows. Thanks. Yes, many people have told me that. Having said that, every time I've applied, I've improved on what I *think* could be positive factors. Some of these are fairly obvious and some might not be factors at all (no one really knows for sure what goes on when someone is approved or rejected). Such as -
