Doctor wrote a paid bill to a woman who was his favorite teacher 22 years ago
This woman was surprised when she found out that her former student, who is now a doctor, wrote 'paid 22 years ago' on her hospital bills.
A teacher plays an important role in the lives of her students. No matter how many years have passed, her legacy and teaching will always stick to her pupils and those things could make or break their future. Do you still remember your favorite teacher? How did he influenced your life? This former student, who was now a doctor, never forgotten his favorite teacher and waited for the right time to repay her.
Almost everybody is familiar with similar heart-warming stories like this, but one would never expect that it could happen in real life until a kindhearted man made it come true. This story will teach you that a generosity planted will always be sowed when the right time comes.
Virginia Padilla Roble, 64, has been a teacher for most of her life. Apparently, her profession is what helped her to receive generosity from a former student. Roble got hospitalized for a few days in Perpetual Succour Hospital in Cebu City due to a broken forearm. Coincidentally, she was under the care of a former student who is now a surgeon, Dr. Dilbert Monicit.
When she was about to be discharged, instead of hospital bills, Roble registered surprise when she received a prescription note from the nurse's station. The note was signed by Dr. Monicit but instead of his professional fee, the note informed Roble that she has already "paid 22 years ago" by being the surgeon's former favorite teacher.
This note warmed up Roble's heart and considered it an early Christmas gift from her former student. She posted the story on Facebook and it went viral on the social media. Hundreds of comments from all over the globe poured down and claimed that they were inspired with Roble's story.
Did this story inspired you too? We'd love to hear from you, so don't hesitate to share your thoughts with us on the comment's section below.
