Not until you get caught.
SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

Hmm.. Can someone kindly point me the direction of legislature I should be looking at with regards to this? I've done some search but can't really find a proper source regarding this.sundaymorningstaple wrote:Not until you get caught.

You must register a business (sole proprietorship) or company (LLC, Pte Ltd, etc) with ACRA before you can legally conduct business.Xunlic wrote:Hmm.. And that's assuming you are a Singapore citizen or PR. Otherwise, you cannot do it at all.

Re: Carousell books not from Singapore
for 10 books i think it should be fine to sell in carousell.
Re: Carousell books not from Singapore
i dun think it is that strict.
10 books are not that alot and can sell in carousell. Unless you are selling a whole load of books such as 100 over, than yes you will need to register as sole proprietor.
And no matter if you are registered or not, you still need to declare your earnings -check out IRAS site for more info.
