Were can I drop off my student pass

Hi,
I have called and e-mailed ICA about 10 times already, but I did not get a reply yet. During my stay in Singapore I had to get a new passport. My student pass however, is still registered on the document number of my old passport. Will this cause any problems?
Also, I am leaving Singapore tomorrow through the border of Malaysia over land. Am I able to drop off my student pass here?

Is your pass cancelled?

You must update ICA on change of travel documents.

You should have gone to ICA and updated the document change.
