Change of employer resulted in rejection of PR, NOT TRUE.

I applied for PR, I changed employer 6 months after application. Jobless for one month and moved to another employer on Aug 2015. Updated ICA on Oct 15 without Form A. My Salary is only about $2400, holding S pass.

PR Approved as from Nov 2015.

My profile / Merit:
Age: 27
I am a Nurse.
I speak Malay, English, Mandarin.
I am a Chinese
I worked in Singapore for past 3 years.

These are my merit I guess. Singapore has Nurse Shortage, and I am able to converse well in Singapore.

Agreed, re: if you fit the profile, ICA will not reject your application easily ...

Likewise, I know folks who changed job, got their approval and then couldn't proceed because new bosses refused to endorse the employment details.

And also know those who were in the same boat, ICA accepted pay slips as proof of employment.

We really don't know on what grounds ICA folks make such decision, the idea is to minimise reasons for rejection.

Ps, Singapore is short of nurses, and even Filipino and Myanmar nurses get PR, but no pink IC.

Where did you do your nursing course ?

In Malaysia. But approved by SNB since I worked in Singapore for 3 yrs

For medical field, Singapore recognises Malaysian awarded degrees.

Suddenly PR approved after 1 month work in the new company. And ICA did not said anything...

I think you should not notify them. Let them know that you will do as little as possible to get what you supposedly desire. I guess I was brought up differently in as much as I try to not give them any reason to have second thoughts about my application. But then again, that's only me and I've already been a PR for a quarter century.

In exceptional cases, ICA may accept current employer's pay slip.

Note, in exceptional cases.

Mostly they consider the application withdrawn if under PTS.

By right you have to inform ica for the job change and resubmit annex 4a with new employer stamp n signature. But for my case, due to the company not willing to sign annex4a since i am a new joiner, they only willing to sign once i got approved. And while i am still in dilemma, suddendly i got the good news that my pr approved. 3 weeks after i join new company. So nothing to lose, called ica and they said it is fine since already approved. I just need to get the new employer sign the 212 form (cmiiw) and provide contract letter.
