Post by riyazuds » Sat, 28 Nov 2015 5:26 am

Hi ,

I am posting this on behalf of my Grand pa. to get few inputs on applying Singapore Citizenship.

My Grandpa is 65+ years old, Living in Singapore for the past 50 years plus. He went at his age of 11.

He is Holding currently SPR. i guess for the past 20+ years.

Applied for citizenship once and got Rejected.

He has two Sons(Married) at the age of 35, One is in Malaysia working and settled there. another son is in india, currently in Visit to singapore.

Can He apply for Singaporean Citizenship again with all Family members Now?

He can apply for citizenship for himself. At his age, I judge that the number one criteria is whether or not he has sufficient income to support himself through to death.

If he runs out of money as a PR, they can throw him out... but not as a citizen. So... make sure he has a provable income stream, lots of investment funds, or both.

As for your other question... "Can He apply for Singaporean Citizenship again with all Family members"... if you mean "can the whole family apply for SC"... you're living a a fantasy world.
