What to expect ...

Folk have been told to monetise their space without being told of the potential consequences.

I am amazed more of this kind of thing hasnt gone on. Though maybe it has and the Govt dont really want to put folk off renting out the spare space in their home , as it takes away any onus for the Govt to look after its elderly folk!!

Not many people are afraid to stay at home with the lights off during the day, so I would be careful jumping to the conclusion. For what was included in the article, it already looked like she might have had a lot of different problems.

In my volunteer work I do meet folks who are on 15$ a day work ... and make do. And living in HDB rental flats.

And also know of those living in larger houses, earning big salary, approaching the MP for PUB rebates and public parking waiver ...

Murder is quite an extreme response to most situations, let alone a $10 light bill. Coupled with someone afraid of the daytime dark, and I predict there will be a finding of mental illness.
