Husband became guarantor while applying PR

hi all , please kindly advise my current situation :

im a singaporean and sponsored my husband in applying pr during this year may . results are still pending . just got a bomb from him saying that he helped his brother to be a guarantor for a bank in msia :???: ](*,) :shock:

wondering if this stupid step will affect his application ?

No. But the decision is stupid for other reasons....
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

won't affect the PR application.

However, if he dishonours that guarantee, then what belongs to your husband may become the property of the bank.

And in marriage, what's yours is also his......
