With a record, nobody in Grassroots will want to touch him with a 10 foot barge pole.x9200 wrote:Very light. Unless there are some weighting details we don't not know.
Plus the free saying "former COO ... " he's been punished I guess.

He will lose some club memberships.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

For a long term expat if his social circle is around - say the Tanglin or SCC - it's the kiss of death.nakatago wrote:Oh no, what a nightmare!PNGMK wrote:He will lose some club memberships.

You know who owns HWZ right ?
Just that it's owned by SPH, and all the subscribers must register with IC #

Re: Light Sentence?
Definitely. You missed a great opportunity.calugaruvaxile wrote:hwz. no, i don't know who owns it. should i care?ecureilx wrote:

This is how I did it. I used HWZ for SLS based shops price lists - very useful to know what and where and how much before going there. When they restricted the access, I was rather p* off as you could imagine. Then I had this smart and cunning plan. Instead of registering with my IC, later at night when nobody watched I visited individual web pages of the shops and got the price lists from there.
SPH, yuck, so oppressive. If I ever move out from Singapore, I will come back here and post more details about how I tricked the system including the url addresses to the price lists. And I will lmao at those who still use hwz.
Re: Light Sentence?
Hmmm well, I don't think you would lose any 'real friends' in such circumstances. Some might observe that his behaviour was uber-kiasu.PNGMK wrote:For a long term expat if his social circle is around - say the Tanglin or SCC - it's the kiss of death.
