Dear all, we're relocating at the end of next month. Fortunate to have been in Asia last month and settled on an apartment. It's unfurnished. We're ok with that but were wondering what furniture recommendations people have?
We need everything and were hoping that local brands may be an option. Build quality? Design? What's everyone's opinion?
Our stuff here in London is a combination of stuff from Dreams, Habitat, Ikea etc. Similar stuff would be great.
Also, we're in need of a bed quite quickly. Anyone know of a good on-line Sg retailer that can we can order from now ahead of time?
Thank you in advance!

Ikea is the go to place for inexpensive (relatively speaking) furnishings. Order from Ikea. There are other furniture stores, some being very high end, and some being dodgy. You really need to be here to buy from them.

Thanks SE. Makes sense. I'm investigating driving a bed down from Malaysia just so we have somewhere to sleep after our hotel accommodation runs out. Let's see what transpires.

We moved into our new apartment in early August. Bought furniture locally - find them quite reliable. In the end, we bought some items from Crate & Barrel, some from an online store (
www.FinnAvenue.com) and other small household items from Ikea. Many places are having Thanksgiving Sale or even early Christmas Sale. Recently added a new piece - a beautiful mirrored dresser - from the online store, at a great 40% discount. So not to worry, I think you have plenty of choices in Singapore - online or in-store.

Never heard of this brand.
I just get adult size tables and chairs because they grow out too fast, waste of money to buy kids sizes.
