Hi, have been reading through this forum on a regular basis and would like to share an update of my recent citizenship application.

Have received AIP for my citizenship application after a 6 months' wait :D

I am Indonesian Chinese. Female, not married. Been a PR since 2005 and had done 2 REP renewals.

All the very best to others who have also submitted their applications and hope to hear more good news! :)

Yep, fits the current want list. Congratulations. Shows that while Malaysian Chinese females are an almost shoe-in, Indonesian Chinese female are still suitable as well. It's either that or they are opening up again.

What type of academic qualifications and job type are you holding?

What are you trying to find with the question "What is the academic qualification?" how does its going to be an Impact [Mr. or Mr. SMS, this is your same funky question couple of times before which I am repeating here for you]

rockhead, it's not an 'impact' by itself, but if you have been here as long as we have, or, for that matter, had a smidgen of common sense, you would know that along with the rest of a successful individual's criteria/data does give us a wee bit of an idea of the current overall trend. While it isn't the most important criteria, it, combined with the rest of the criteria/package, does allow us to form a semblance of an idea of the way that ICA seems to be looking. It's all subject to interpretation and conjecture. Nobody said otherwise. However, your stupid, immature jabs at people are bordering on you being our Friday troll, truth be known. You are not helping anybody, but just being disruptive. I can live with that, but some of our regulars are getting a wee bit tired of it, if my PMs are anything to go by. I know you are upset at your pending status, but nobody can know 100% what ICA are thinking AND doing. We do know that they use Vetting Teams in applicants home countries, some of them are Singaporean and some are contracted out to people native to those countries. So, while all the information that they ask for is important, certain things they may well get from background checks in your home country. It could be what we call silly stuff like parking and traffic violations, extent of extended family, family background, financial stability, and a lot of other stuff that there are no 'paper qualifications' to support. And none of this will be revealed, even to the applicant, regardless of whether he is accepted or rejected.

One other thing. If you are going to 'quote' me please do so and not put your atrocious grammar in my quote. I didn't ask the question "What is the academic qualification?". Based on the income levels and education levels you claim, surely you are competent enough to copy/paste? Please don't tell me I've given you far too much credit.

I leave you with this that I responded to you with some time ago....

Oh, try not to be such a poor troll, it doesn't become you...

Without knowing all the other detail, it's absolutely meaningless. There are no prohibitions against any other races/nationality combinations if the total point spread is enough to outweigh any priority points in specific data categories. They still have to look at the overall package and weigh it against their prevailing 'requirements' at that point in time. Congratulations to her.
