Advice needed ASAP - Brookvale Park

Hi I am looking at various properties and came across a condo in Brookvale Park is on west coast, at the end of Sunset way, 5 minutes by car from Holland Village, 7min from Dempsey Road and 12min from Orchard Road (the main shopping street of Singapore). Bukit Timah, the second main street of Singapore after Orchard Road is 5min away from development.

So I just want to gauge, if anyone knows the area or this development? It is one of the "old" ones in Singapore, and as such quite spacious, with all the leisure facilities / schools to match it. However not being in the city right now, am seeking opinions, those who are there and might even live / rent, around / within this development.

The nearest MRT is Clementi

Don't know the area but it is right beside the PIE. Have you visited? What's the traffic noise like? For me the PIE is the one expressway I try to avoid, simply due the the traffic volume.

You clearly got your info from property website as it's written in "property-agentese". Which means you can't believe a word of it.

It's 5 minutes to HV, 7 min to Dempsey and 12 min to Orchard Road etc IF you are driving a Ferrari with no traffic, no traffic lights and no speed limits to worry about... It is certainly an old development so you will probably have more space but you'll be trading that for things being a bit - to very run down. As bgd said, it is close to the Pan Island Expressway which means traffic noise will be constant.

Not familiar with the place but from what I know about Sunset way, could be quite a walk to the nearest bus stop. Don't think it is near MRT.
