Prescription Medications via Mail?

Postby mjmahoney0314 » Fri, 02 Oct 2015 7:20 am

Arrived a month ago from USA. Used to get my prescriptions mailed to my home on a quarterly basis. Has anyone had any luck getting meds forwarded to Singapore from USA? (none are controlled meds, i saw online that they are allowed to be mailed "with a doctor's note" which will be virtually impossible for me to coordinate...) what experience has anyone had trying to get meds here? Do i need to see a local doc yo get a new script? Ugh.

Doctors here will sell it to your straight from their clinic. Alternatively try the Pharmacy in City Square JB. Malaysia's over the counter sales are very liberal and I get a lot of 'perscription' medicine from there with no script/

Thanks for that! I have to say i am surprised as when i went to purchase Neosporin ointment, was told i needed a script! Funny how varied the "laws" can be...
