You can contact music schools like Yamaha and such. I have friends who are currently teaching music to school children with their diploma or degree in music. But be prepared for low pay and odd working hours.

No, he meant to ask if you are currently a Singaporean citizen, Permanent Resident or foreign employment visa holder, or just foreigner.

Although the OP has decided to remove their initial post, I'd like to suggest they consider multiple streams of income.

Most of the musicians that I know of in Singapore rely on a combination of income sources to survive because rightly or wrongly, earning your bread and butter as a musician alone is unlikely here.

Typically a musician might work in a music shop, teach music, do session work for commercial audio projects, engineer in various audio facilities, do pub and wedding gigs, repair instruments or do a combination of all of these things to survive.

If the OP is a SVP holder they should of course be doing NONE of these things.

I asked the residency of the OP, as I know a few keyboard / Guitar players, who teach in a few music schools

While the pay is not fantastic, combined with their regular gigs, they make more than enough to afford a car + all expenses and still have enough

If the OP is on SVP or a pass that doesn't allow working .. no comments

He didn't. It was removed in one go together with his other posts advertising his services.

OP - Original Poster, which is very commonly used in ANY FORUM !

SVP - ICA's acronym for social Visit Pass

As for gigs, since you are 18, you can't go into most bars and pubs and establish some rapport with bands, which will logically lead you to them referring their lobangs.

Next question ??
