Donald Trump
Re: Donald Trump
On the point of picking judges and there is nothing you can do.... that's not quite true - the GOP under Mitch with a GOP senate simply refused to appoint (or consent to appoint) Garland. IF the GOP control the senate in the next term they can continue the tactic until all the SCOTUS judges are dead.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools

Re: Donald Trump
It's a constitutional crisis. If the GOP led Congress won't approve judges (and there are a total of 92 vacancies that the GOP Senate refuses of act upon), then the entire systems breaks down.PNGMK wrote:On the point of picking judges and there is nothing you can do.... that's not quite true - the GOP under Mitch with a GOP senate simply refused to appoint (or consent to appoint) Garland. If the GOP led Congress refuses to pass appropriations bills (and that is exactly what it has done), then the only way the country can survive is through executive order.
Compromise is an essential part of the democratic process but the hard right tea baggers in Congress don't and won't compromise. That's a breakdown, and I despise those sons of bitches in the GOP that have brought us to this point. Mitch Ryan, McConnell, and the rest of the racist tea baggers... all seriously large turds in the punchbowl.
