Salary for a CLINICAL RESEARCHER with a PhD

Post by mighty_hedgehog » Mon, 14 Sep 2015 8:09 am

Hi there,
I expect soon to be interviewed for a clinical researcher position in Singapore's branch of an international company. I believe I'll be asked about my financial expectations. Before posting here, I had done a pretty thorough internet search trying to figure out what would be a reasonable salary range to ask for. However, the numbers seem to vary a lot. Could you please help?
I have a PhD, 8+ years of (international) research and/or clinical experience in the field, and a decent track record including papers & conference presentations.
Can you suggest a salary range from a barely acceptable minimum to a sum that may be considered as offensively high? Could you please also suggest what kind of expat bonuses (if any these days) I can possibly ask for? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks! :)

For the bonuses, really difficult to tell but housing and education allowance, full or partial still may be an option depending on many factor including the company. As of the salary range, they (local HR) most likely will try to get from you your current salary and offer something only slightly higher. 8+ years of experience with a PhD, 7k to 15k would be my guess.
