Sponsored PR, spouse is applying citizen

Post by apeggy2 » Wed, 09 Sep 2015 3:09 pm

Hi all, my PR was sponsored by my spouse 1 year ago. We had married for 1.5years and we have a 2 m/o baby. My spouse has been PR for 3 years. We want to apply citizenship for whole family. From ICA website,
"For application under spouse’s sponsorship, both applicant and spouse must be present for the interview. The applicant has to fulfil a minimum of 2-year permanent residence (PR) and married for at least 2 years."

1.If I cannot apply citizen together with my spouse and baby, then will my PR be cancelled?

This section only applies if the applicant (you) are married to Singapore citizen spouse. In this case, no.

Better to wait until you get 2 years of your PR.
