Short answer is Yes but not everything on Amazon is available to be shipped to Singapore.
Amazon is easy enough for you to try out and get more detailed answer before you hit the button to finalize the order. Generally, if the order + shipping is less than SGD400, there is no tax .. but this is all figured out by Amazon while you are placing the order. Once again, the easiest way is to actually go and try to place the order on Amazon.

Try Taobao, Qoo10, ebay, Carousel etc.
There you go. The Singaporean options.

Lazada is what I use for a lot of the home goods I would normally buy from Amazon.

From my experience Qoo10 does not seem to verify whether the goods are really shipped from a local supplier or from overseas. I stopped using them after few cases where the seller simply lied about the location (so I received after weeks rather than days) and Qoo10 appeared to give no sh** about it. Also had some problems with defective items.
I switched to Lazada and have so far very positive experience.
