Regarding foreign (construction) workers.

On Sunday evening, a group of undergraduate communications students posted a video that has garnered nearly 38,000 views and shared more than 980 times, in less than 24 hours.
The clip featured four foreign workers — two from China and two from Bangladesh — reading comments made online about them.

The similarity with the Coke 'construction workers' ad is striking. I wonder which uni/poly the students attend.

I've decided that whenever children say "Why do I have to learn this?" or "Why do I have to take these tests?", I would respond by telling them that when they become adults, they will end up doing things they don't like or they feel are pointless and doing them in school will be good practice*.

Because the world sucks, it's filled with people you won't like and most of the time, have no choice but to deal with, and unless you have the will and patience, you can do very little about it. Sometimes, it's not about who's right or wrong but about who has leverage over you.

* Not really, but this would be my version of Santa Claus

That sounds sad and partly true. But you already spot it on that if you have the will and patience, you can deal with it. So the problem is many people lack the will and patience to do good things. If everyone work on it, the world is not that bad.
