We don't know why she's in jail in the first place, not even her side of the story.

You go to jail in Malaysia if a supplier says you own him some money and in jain it still all depends on the supplier? Odd odd country, weird suppliers. No, you are not helping her.

A lot of holes in the story ..
And the last time I checked, Malaysia was not in Middle East - like Dubai, where running credit lands you in jail promptly

Was it this one?
https://life.indiegogo.com/fundraisers/ ... -now-ended
---------------------------
'The Story
This was previously a campaign to raise funds to help get a trans woman out of jail who had been jailed for simply being transgender. Fortunately someone else beat me to it and exceeded our own goal elsewhere. Please, no more donations. If you donated (only one of you did, and myself as of this writing, so hopefully that's all) then I'm doing my best to get your funds back to you.
Update #2
so, my source was wrong with it's date, and I just saw that a minister beat me to it with this. Soooo. i'll be returning the 15 dollar donation. Please no more donations, as I don't want to make the process of refunding donations any more difficult.'
---------------------------
The campaign starter donated a generous $1, and raised $16 in total.
