North of Kuala Lumpur, Fraser's hill

Post by TandD » Mon, 17 Aug 2015 11:34 pm

Wondering if anyone been to Fraser's Hill and what you thought of it. Wanting to explore places that are an hour or two north of KL for 3 nights with two kids 8 and 10. We were thinking of Fraser's Hill, heard there's strawberry field, waterfalls, good walks, though from someone who went over 10 yrs ago. Doesn't seem many places to stay.

Would be very appreciative of recent-ish experience of the area or suggestions of other places within 2hrs of KL worth visiting. Thanks

Hi,
Fraser hill is pretty boring but its good if you are looking for a place with nothing much to do and relax. Weather is good while it's cool and the air is super fresh. The starwberry (Not field) farm is probably closed down. The trails , horse riding and golfing are still available. There are a bit of hotels but make sure you book early. Shazan inn is probably the only available hotel while you can also consider Puncak Inn which is a budget hotel however it's conveniently located at the center of Fraser hill.
